P2P Texting Strategy Generates 10:1 ROI

Denver Rescue Mission was looking for a new way to reach donors and boost revenue. Because many of RKD’s clients have seen success with peer-to-peer texting in the last year, we implemented it into Denver’s program.

Over the last few months, we targeted 0–24-month digital donors (excluding monthly and major donors) with a series of four peer-to-peer texting campaigns.

In addition, we ran an offer-based test during the final campaign to see if leading with a 3x match offer versus leading with a need-based offer would impact the response. The match offer generated 200% more in revenue than the need-based offer, making it a clear winner. 

At a 10:1 return on their investment, the comprehensive peer-to-peer texting strategy has paid off tremendously for the mission and provided a fantastic way to reach donors in an additional channel!
