< Back to Results Building a database to help a national organization reach new heights Challenge When we began our work with Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) in 2004, they were working toward one main goal: bringing in new donors and getting them to develop deep relationships with their organization. Our Role Data management 3+ billion Records migrated 10+ million Donor records housed Increase in average gift size Solution In order to do that, they needed a database provider who could help them build a scalable infrastructure to support their goals for growth. At the time, they were mailing roughly 10,000 pieces annually, and they needed help building a database that was clean, secure and up to date. They wanted reliability—to ensure the deliverability of their direct response pieces. Through meetings with their internal team, as well as their other vendors, we worked with WWP to: Build a unique, scalable data architecture custom-designed to meet the needs of their omnichannel marketing operations Develop integrations with other marketing platforms—from eCRMs to auction platforms Support the migration of over 3 billion records Results Over the years, WWP has grown exponentially, mailing more than 100 million pieces annually today. Since 2004, their database has grown from 10,000 donors to more than 10 million. Because they took the time to invest in their infrastructure, we’ve been able to scale their database with them, supporting all of the mailings, reports and analytics they need. By working so closely with their team and other vendors, we can worry about their database management—so they don’t have to. “RKD helped us build a database infrastructure that could scale with us as we grow. Thanks to their support, we know that our data is clean, secure and always available when we need it.” More Results View allView all Acquisition is a year-round investmentRead more > Building a database to help a national organization reach new heightsRead more > Increased spend, ad grant optimizations help disaster relief effortsRead more > Decade-long partnership leads to dramatic omnichannel growthRead more >
